Siblings

For many parents, there is a need to have photographs of their children together. As a parent of three myself I totally understand it. I am always working towards that elusive photograph of all three of mine together. You want the group shot to capture a record of their closeness (or at least prove that they were all in the same space!). But adding more than one increases the challenge as well. There are so many more variables--are they positioned so they are pleasing and visible to the camera, are they looking in the same direction or interacting with each other, do they have similar expressions on their faces....and so on, and so on. As a mommy I understand the desire, so as a photographer I always give it my BEST effort. Here are a couple from this weekend:

And Landon, who was determined to get some photos of himself as "John Wayne" even though mom was more interested in spring photos (don't worry Mom, we got some of those too but I liked his cowboy look :)
