Spring in the Studio

While there may be a surprise blanket of snow covering the ground outside right now, spring has sprung in the UpperCase studio! Easter is early this year so several of my recent sessions have included some Easter-themed photos. It has been a nice change of pace to dust off the fluffy chicks and bright colored backdrops. Check out these adorable little ones welcoming an early arrival of spring:

And here are a few from those same sessions, but showcasing more serious expressions. Sometimes parents look at me strangely when I am snapping away at a child who isn't smiling. I enjoy capturing a wide range of emotions during a session if possible. Some of my favorite photos of my own children are when they aren't smiling. Let's face it, even the happiest of children aren't always smiling, so sometimes they look the most like themselves when they're just "being."

Thank you to everyone who has emailed me your contact information and thanks for all the compliments on the new information packet! If you haven't received yours and would like one, feel free to email me. I have been booking lots of spring and summer sessions this week, so if you'd like a spot on the calendar plan ahead and contact me soon. Enjoy the snow and have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
